Pane e Tulipani Caffe e Cucina - Review - Old school charm

Pane e Tulipani Caffe e Cucina is a nice, small, kind of old fashioned run Italian restaurant in Port Melbourne.  You do feel at home here and I like that.

Pane e Tulipani Caffe e Cucina runs theme nights once a month so if you like to experiment and try something new this might be a great idea for you. I guess for many of us, we have grown up with a set idea of Italian food so to experience something new in the world of Italian food is a positive.

For a seemingly home run business it seems Pane e Tulipani Caffe e Cucina has tried to keep up with their presentation skills.  The plating has modern look to it that raises it above the level of your average Italian restaurant (although authenticity might be running out of the window).  In any case, I think the meals at Pane e Tulipani Caffe e Cucina look pretty inviting.

All the food at Pane e Tulipani Caffe e Cucina tasted great.  I guess you might complain that the dishes are a bit small but on the other side of the coin, Pane e Tulipani Caffe e Cucina has moderate pricing so its all fair.

The most important thing is that you go away enjoying the food and the experience.  On these fronts Pane e Tulipani Caffe e Cucina succeeds. Pane e Tulipani Caffe e Cucina is never going to the trendy or cool place to go out for dinner.  It's old school but sometimes we need that.

Pane e Tulipani Caffe e Cucina does give away vouchers when you dine with them.  This is a nice plus but you do hope that it is sustainable for them.  In any case they are definitely worth a try if you live in the area.  Very fair pricing combined with a nice pleasant dining experience pretty much sums them up. Enjoy.
